Begin:
Time for discovery! A most exciting step as we reminisce, dig deep for reality, and envision what the future holds. We gather all information and data pertaining to the organizations; history, current affairs and vision/goals. This is accomplished by visiting with key people who can provide the most accurate, detailed facts and figures, perspectives and passion for the organization. This information is captured through personal interviews, group discussions, surveys and questionnaires. Setting the stage for buy-in of the employees and management. Most treat change defensively because we flea from unpredictable environments. The EPG T.E.A.M. systems allow for successful change management by managing expectations from the beginning.
Evaluation:
Rolling up our sleeves we analyze the facts and figures, perspectives and passions. We identify our strength and quantify our weakness. Truth is the cornerstone of the strongest foundations. Simply put we find our foundation. EPG implements decision making, risk management, and problem solving skill development with employees and managers at this stage, both at the corporate and personal level.
Compile:
Gather in and identify all resources available to us to take our organization to the next level. Preparing and positioning key players.
Outline:
The “Plan”…in this step we map out our course! Establishing priorities, implementing results based strategies at all levels of the organization. Develop target’s and train processes that improve employee satisfaction and contribution.
Measure:
When we keep score the score will always improve. The priority focus in this step is proper score keeping. Keeping score helps us not only know our current position but what adjustments need to be made to get to the top and realize our vision.
"When we deal in generalities we will seldom succeed. When we deal in specifics we will rarely have failure. When performance is measured, performance improves. When performance is measured and reported the rate of performance increases"
Thomas S. Monson
Enhance:
When we know where we are going, when we follow a charted course, when we know our current position we can enhance our methods making any needed adjustments to our course as we ascend to the peak. Principle based action improves ones ability to; communicate more effectively, develop relationships, resolve conflict, and develop greater influence.
